Michael-JamesMichael James, Chief Operations Officer:
After a few years of working on the North Sea, Michael James started his career in the optical precision diamond cutting industry in the USA. Later on as a program manager he considered one of his  most exciting projects to be the design and production of laser telescopes at the National Ignition Facility in Lawrence Livermore California. Among many other projects were the state of the art Helicopter pilot training  Head Mounted 3D Display and Laser Direct imaging systems for LCD Boards.

Leaving the intense world of development engineering but bringing with him his wide experience in program management he is now the COO for Fireship Press in Tucson, Arizona where he lives on a small ranch with his family and animals.

HornerCChristine Horner, Media and Web Designer. Christine Horner’s long-standing love affair with books lead her to screenwriting and several trips out to L.A.  Words of praise have kept her writing ambitions alive as she continues writing with three books soon to be published.  Meantime, Christine has ten years experience as a web site / graphics designer and small business consultant.  Naturally, she would find her way into designing book covers. Other interests include humanitarian work, crafting a new vision for humanity with the Global Humanity Bill of Rights and Christine’s blog “Conversations Under the Bodhi Tree”.    You may find her design work at Consulting By Design.

Christine Paige, Copyeditor.  Chris Paige was the kid in 7th grade who loved diagramming sentences and sang Grammar Rock songs – also songs by Tom Leher, Rogers and Hart, and Steven Sondheim.  During college she was the go-to classmate when it came time to evolve a C+/- essay into an A grade paper by inserting supportive evidence, adding transitions, correcting punctuation, boosting the vocabulary level,  and giving the conclusion more depth  In the Army –as a medic stationed in Germany – Paige occasionally helped soldiers, senior NCOs, and officers with their compositions. On her return to civilian life, Paige was certified for secondary education in Mathematics, English, and General Science, and taught Mythology, U.S. Literature, Reading Plays, Shakespeare, and Science Fiction/Fantasy Literature at Kino School. In 2006 Paige began writing reviews for ConNotations, and in 2008 joined Fireship Press to do proofreading and editing for reprinted classics and eventually, to apply her considerable copyediting skills for newly published writers.
